The Olivier House Hotel offers a unique blend of historic charm and modern amenities right in the heart of the action in New Orleans. The ambiance is captivating with intricate details and friendly cats that added a homey touch to my stay. However, the pool needed maintenance, and I had a concerning issue with bed bugs in my room that impacted my experience. Despite these hiccups, the overall experience was enjoyable and I would consider returning.
Room 405 had beautiful exposed brick and a stunning view of the Business District and French Quarter rooftops, but I encountered significant issues with bed bugs.
Staff were mostly accommodating, although one gentleman seemed less welcoming when we had questions.
The hotel is perfectly situated near the lively French Quarter, making it convenient for exploring all the surrounding attractions.
The complimentary coffee, tea, fresh fruit, and pastries were a delightful touch to start the day without needing to rush out.
The ambiance is lovely with quaint courtyards, but the pool looked grimy and wasn't usable during my stay.

The Olivier House Hotel offers a unique blend of historic charm and modern comforts in a prime location near the French Quarter. While the staff were generally accommodating and the atmosphere delightful with its quaint courtyards, there are some concerns like the outdated pool area and issues with room cleanliness. My experience was heightened by the vibrant decor, but I did encounter an unfortunate bed bug issue that dampened my overall impression. Despite that, I'd consider staying here again for its character and charm.
I loved the historic details in our room, such as the exposed brick, but encountered bed bugs during the stay. The rooms felt clean and well-decorated otherwise.
The majority of the staff were helpful and accommodating, though there was one instance where a staff member seemed a bit unfriendly.
The hotel's location is fantastic, right in the heart of the action near the French Quarter, making it easy to explore all the vibrant surroundings.
While the pool area felt grimy due to ongoing maintenance work, the courtyard and common areas were charming. It could definitely use some improvements.
